It's Time To Win

SOO gyalss, for an upcoming party that is tomorrow, i have been asked by numerous people, time and time again "what should i wear?". well, the answer is quite simple the only way to WIN with your outfit, is not to play it safe, not pull the whole jeggings and white baggy T look. To BEAT everyone else my darling, you must follow this one simple rule. BE DIFFERENT. honestly, my favorite outfits are UGLY pieces of vintage old fashioned clothing, pulled of who really knows how and put together in a way that is so bizzar that it just somehow works. When i pick an outfit before trying it on,  i ask people what they think about it and when a repulsive look instantly swarms their face basically saying "may i ask... what the FUCK?" i simply know that its exactly what I'm going for. The greatest part is I'm not lying at all right now, you can really ask anyone. i like to live thinking ' if you think its ugly, than it looks exactly how i want it to'. Now of course this could be risky, but you just have to know what lines of ugly to go by. PLEASE understand I'm not asking you to leave your house in some frenzied red plaid skirt with a strawberry patterned shirt and pig tails because thats not the uh... "ugly" were going for here. I'm thinking something more along the lines of taking a risk and putt things together you would never have the guts to actually wear. Because its much better to be seen as someone who has the guts to show up in something so different than everyone else, that not one single person is wearing the same thing than to wear this one again. maybe for the 50th time? Naw 60th maybe? Don't get me wrong i don't dislike the t-shirt and jeans, but if your wanna win, your going to have to be a little bit more creative. Just think of CHAOTIC SANITY. ;)

Sorry if that was too confusing, for a little guidance to bring some
sensibility to what i'm saying here are some pictures of outfits that
don't work so much.. they just work.
 Balmain. Gotta love it.
mixing patterns, its crazy but if you can pull it off. you simply have to do it.
her arms look like animals. now who's willing to do that?

high waited PINK pants, beige top, silver bra, turquoise necklace.
but she still looks good

self explanatory.
not even wearing pants... still looks fantastic
i own these and i don't think i can find one person who can say they like them, while keeping a straight face
thats how u know there good ;)

WINTER-- Bears Hibernate. Never Said Your Clothes Have To!

Yes, it did snow this morning, and yes this does mean its winter. this means good bye fall, leaves, and perfect temperature and hello winter, snow, and the freezing cold. fall is my favorite season, at least for fashion that is and it just seems to fly by so quick. i feel like i didn't even have a chance to wear half the clothes i had planned, don't you agree? so i did some thinking, there must be a solution to this chaos. and the only thing i came up with was... yes, of course its an indication to bring out our winter wardrobe. but they never said we had to put away the fall one, did they?
caught on yet?
if not what I'm getting at is MIX IT UP A LITTLE.  i don't see a handbook titled "Fashion Rules" anywhere do you?
no I'm not technically telling you to put on a typical fall outfit, with full on colors and everything, although i would admire that, great way to make a statement. I'm saying just mix and match it up a bit. who said you couldn't pair your beige cargo's with maybe a great pair of moccasins? because your sure as hell not going to be wearing snow pants and moon boots.. lemme tell ya. The truth is, people wont even notice your not in a winter outfit, you'll just look slightly more fashionably intellectual than everyone else ;) Cman im telling ya, show a little CHAOTIC SANITY!!!

If your someone who really likes winter clothes though (to be honest there starting to grow on me) some looks I'm really liking are thick tights, be a little different and don't just wear black leggings. as well as i like seeing a nice thick high sock being worn. sorta giving the leg warmer effect but not so 1960's. the other day i went to urban outfitters and went straight upstairs into the mens section, i bought this wicked super big super thick navy blue cardigan, it goes for the whole ex-boyfriend look like i mentioned in an earlier blog post (read it!). so this winter you could really go for the whole, big warm grandpa sweater look. if you pair it with the right things it'll look fantastic.

some pictures of winter styles i like:

the white fur and brown leather look so good together
vintage fur jacket. its fantastic. (i like the leather pants too, as well as the platform shoes)
festive AND fur. not much more to ask for.
Not to mention DO YOU SEE THOSE SHOES!?!?!?!

hat, high boots, long dress, long coat. i don't even need to explain this one
look at the pants FANTASTIC! be festive.
the color of the dress is perfect for winter (notice those shoes are fall colors,  STILL WORKS!)
I'm really liking the fur jacket, just go for it.
(again notice the dress most likely came from the fall closet)

If You Think Diamonds Are Precious, Get A Taste Of Balmain

Soooooo, on my lovely expedition through New York i visited manyyy of there UNREAL department storess.
theree wass sackss barneys blooming dales and bergdorf. let me tell you, the department stores in New York are like the size of a MALL here. Each have anywhere from 4 to 7 floors of mens childrens womens shoes and even dogs for that matter. Think about that? all these stores, could you EVEN imaagineeeeeeeee how much clothes they all have? how MUCH stuff they have to choose from? Just take a second to imagine.
Yup, there really was that much, its not just your imagination. all those clothes and so little time. Its impossible to see all the brands nevermind all the clothes. i have to say though, in every single store i went into, the small brand Balmain always caught my eye. on a floor full of  great makes, example, Elizabeth and James, Rag and Bone, Alexander Wang, Joie, Theory, Balenciaga, Marc Jacobs, Lanvin, Proenza Schouler (bags), Helmut Lang, honestly stop me because i can go on forever. But anyways, on a floor with ALL those makes, i always found myself in the little corner marked "Balmain" looking at the very limited collection the stores would carry. why is this? because, it is so unique, and well put together, you'll catch its shimmer from miles away. YES its shimmer, being dead serious each and every piece of clothing, or i should call it a piece of art, it magnificently put together with every detail exactly in its places down to the last milli meter. for instance they had a outstanding army jacket with high pinned shoulders and shoulder pads. the material was perfectly stiff yet perfectly broken in. every little rip tassel or tear was the perfect size in the perfect place. and every shoulder was perfectly crystal encrusted. like i said, as delicate and precious or even more, than a beautiful rare yellow diamond. Not to mention it might as well been a diamond once you see these prices. the jacket sold roughly around $16,000.00. there was a gorgeous ripped plain purple t-shirt selling for just over $1,000.
well that gets you thinking, who in the right mind would ever spend that much money on something they could make themselves. you really have to appreciate the clothes and the designer to spend so much, but once u see this line, you cant turn it down. now my new life long goal is to firstly buy this straight tight yet not fitted, sequined long 3 quarter sleeved high pinned shoulder padded blue dress, and secondly have the balls to wear it. i know, i would normally NEVER go for a sequined dress but this one is so fantastically put together it the furthest thing around from tacky.
well im sure your dying to see what this line looks like so below ive put pictures (with the price just for an idea of how valuable they are). hope you find this same new appreciation as i did! AND THAT IS WHAT I CALL CHHAOOTIICCC SANNIITYY I TELL YAAAAA

the feather cape- $7,555
perfectly designed

suede dress-$10,085
high pinned shoulders are great

military jacket- $6,285
shoulder pads are fantasic on this

the detail in each button

brocade dress- $21,250
the gold detail is perfect

embriodered destroyed dress- $11,185

speaks for itself

I don't have a price for this, but they
managed to make a low front yet
still keep the dress looking classy. it fits amazingly.

When the Men Are Busy With Football, it Leaves us Nothing, but More Time to SHOP

Ahhhhhh nothing better than having a casual drop in to new york right!?
sooo just so happens my brothers and dad are going to.. boston? baltimore? who really caress. fFor some football game. That leaves me and my mom, uninvited, left to clean the house and cook? WRONG. If they can go away on a random weekend in november for a football game, then we sure as shit can go to NEWYORK on some random weekend in november RIGHT. Cman its only fair. So tomorrow morning i have to wake up BRIGHT AND EARLY, 6 o'clock darlinggs. And normally id be dreading this right now probably already getting ready for bed  (take note its not even 6pm). But nope , im completlyyy fine that i have to wake up when the flipping farmers do tomorrow morning. Because i know that what comes next consists of me jumping on a plane to arrive in NewYork 1 hour later.
ahhh sounds like
The city where people DO NOT REST until they have found the perfect pair Christian Louboutins, or the perfect fitting fur throw over.
Yep, tomorrow i'm LITERALLY going to shop until i drop (excuse the overused saying, but its true)
And seeing as ill be on a plane tomorrow morning , cant make breakfast at tiffany. But who said we cant still do lunch at Barneys? mmmmmm just thinking about it.
I should probably go get some sleep, don't want to be tired ;) Got a long day ahead.

But i was suggested to make a blog post when i get back with pictures of some things i bought. I THINK ITS PRETTY CLEVER. So be expecting that sometime next week as soon as i get the time.
mmmmm CHAOTIC SANITY it is.

F is for FALL...and for fashion

While many people are dreading over cold weather arriving and the nice warm summer leaving, i think of it as the perfect season for DRESSING. Ask me my favorite season, and ill say fall WITHOUT A QUESTION. its by far the greatest weather to dress for. The cold weather is nothing more but and indication to put away your jean shorts and tank-tops and bring out the cargos and sweaters. CMAN how could you not love an excuse to take out the circle scarves and high boots once again. Its the perfect season, the colors compliment everyone. greens, browns, reds, golds, oranges and beige is impossible to dislike! and the weather is perfect for a nice jacket to complete the outfit but not cover it up like a big bulky Canada Goose Coat. Not to mention the makeup for this season is great for green and brown eyes.
these are some amazing outfits that will change your mind about fall ;)
the drapey look is great for fall

just because its cold doesn't mean ya cant be exposed!! try sheer
i like this skirt with the velvet blazer. mix lace and velvet!

this jacket would make any outfit look time consuming. (did you even realize she's just wearing a white shirt with black pants?)

(best for green or brown eyes- brown or dirty blonde hair)

just because its not summer doesn't mean you cant be tan! this is by far the greatest product to enhance your cheek bones.
the gold with a pink tint will be perfect for cheek bones in fall!
go for PLUM instead of plain black

use brown eye liner, its more subtle and brings out your eyes! perfect for fall.

the gold tint will look amazing! try going for heavy pinks with a gold undertone
these are the EXACT colors to be wearing in fall. try it and your eyes will LITERALLY POP.

chaotic sanity?
